The MACRO engine's sound models (firmware/src/plaits/, Orange Cat 0.5.0 and later) are ported to C from Emilie Gillet's eurorack code (MIT): Plaits (plaits/dsp: the engines, their oscillators, drums, noise, physical models, chords and effects) and the parts of stmlib they use (stmlib/dsp, stmlib/utils/random.h). tools/gen_plaits_tables.py copies their lookup tables. The SHAPES engine's oscillator (firmware/src/braids/, Orange Cat 0.5.1 and later) is ported to C from the same repository's Braids (braids/macro_oscillator, analog_oscillator, digital_oscillator, excitation, svf, parameter_interpolation) and stmlib/utils (dsp.h, random.h). tools/gen_braids_tables.py copies its lookup tables. The ported files stay under the MIT licence below; the rest of Orange Cat is GPL-3.0-only (LICENSE).
